In music documentary news, Austin to Boston will be released worldwide on June 12 through Netflix and iTunes. The film follows four bands as they depart from Austin's SXSW Music Festival and collectively hit the road on their northeast tour. These four bands are Ben Howard, The Staves, Nathaniel Rateliff and Bear's Den. 

I'm super stoked for this release as not only a lover of "hit the road" films but also as a fan of all four of these bands. If you enjoy music of the Folk/Americana realm, and are unfamiliar with any of these names, I highly suggest perusing the videos below.

The film is directed by James Marcus Haney and produced by Ben Lovett and Ty Johnson.
