Highlights From the Newport Folk Festival
This past weekend was the Newport Folk Festival in Newport, RI. Though I was not in attendance, I certainly would love to have been. The weekend was full of incredible acts including The Decemberists, Sufjan Stevens, First Aid Kit, Hozier, Shakey Graves and more.

Luckily, NPR was there and recorded a handful of sets including artists Courtney Barnett, The Lone Bellow and Dawes, among others.
One of my favorites is from Lord Huron, who released their latest album Strange Trails earlier this year. It's a soothing, feel-good album that I've had on heavy rotation the past few months. One of my favorite tracks is "Meet Me in the Woods" which you can catch around 26:24 in their performance below --
