A couple of weeks ago I had the great fortune of witnessing Chairlift play their final show at the new Brooklyn Steel.
If you’ve yet to scope out the venue's calendar, I highly suggest it. Whoever their booking rep is, we ride the same wavelength.
Back to Chairlift.
It was a solid night comprised of songs that spanned their three-album career, a saxophonist who had me groovin’ hard, their parents in the crowd and a confetti rocket for their pop-tastic “Ch-Ching.”
Here's a clip of that performance --
Thank you to WFUV for the tickets and to Chairlift for kicking off my Brooklyn Steel experience with their final run.
xxChris
