Francis Down the 101: My Oregon Adventure

Last week I was in Portland, OR and on Sunday, I rented a car and headed out to the coast. Winding through the mountains, "Follow Me Home" came on. Windows down, stereo up; it was the perfect road trip song with it's groovy keys and "pedal down" notions.

While driving along the 101, this infinite, deep blue seeped through the trees to my left. I pulled over to a lookout and was stunned by the vast amount blue glistening every which way. It's what I can only describe as Pacific Glory:

What a day, what a coastline.
